Here are some pictures of davis. He was born on March 23 at 7:00p.m. He was 2 weeks early and weighed 5 pounds 14 ounces and 19 inches long. I guess he wanted to be here really bad. The dilivery went great and was in labor for 3 hours and had him in 10 min. of pushing. That is really a cool experience having a baby and I would do it all over again. We love him so much and words can't explain how I feel about my little Man. Jimmy does great with him, just had to teach him how to burb him and get fast at changing his diaper. It's fun being a mom I never want to leave him.
One thing is I have such a hard time with his sleeping at night. He has his nights and days mixed up. If he slept as good as he does during the day. I would be in Heaven. Does anyone have any advice at all? I'm reading baby wise so I might try that. Well hope you enjoy this pictures!

I never had one that had the days and nights mixed up - my friend did and she said it just took time for them to switch over - but you do lose a lot of sleep in the meanwhile!

Babywise is good and give it time...he is still so little. You will get into a routine pretty soon. He is absolutely gorgeous. Let me know if I can do anything and please call me so we can hang out.

congrats you guys!!! I am so excited he is here. He sure is a cutie! Don't worry, the whole day and night thing will work its way out, just keep him up a little more during the day. Can't wait to meet him.
Maron he is so cute!!! Congrats!! He has the most perfect face and I love his hair! I tried Baby wise with my baby and ended up letting my 6 week old scream for 45 minutes trying to make him go to sleep on his own!! It breaks my heart to think about it to this day! I strongly disagree with baby wise I think every baby has its own schedule and every baby over time falls into its own schedule without you having to do anything. It just takes time!!! I personally liked the Ferber method better! You should look it up! The book suggests you wait till theyre a little older to let them cry it out.
He is so sweet! I love him, wish I was able to spend more time with you guys today. Let's plan something for next week. Friday? My mom will finally be out of the hospital so I will get somewhat of my life back, I know my mom would love to see you and Davis, too. You'll have to come over. Like Sasha, I am anti-baby wise. I do like The Ferber Method better, and would definitely recommend it, but everyone is different. You'll find whatever works best for you. You look great, keep those pics coming!!!
He's such a cutie, I could sit and snuggle him all day long! I'm so glad we were able to come see him. We already talked about this, but just make sure you are getting some sleep during the day while he sleeps. The housework will always be there. ;) Call me whenever you need a nap break.
PS- I used to have the Ferber book, if you don't have one I'll see if I can find mine.

I am sad I didn't get to see the little man in person while you were at our ward last Easter Sunday. You my dear look wonderful.
Maren, hang in there with the sleep, that is so incredibly hard. Give it time, he should work it's self out. Mothers need their sleep sooooooo bad!!! I swear once you start sleeping you will have a whole new outlook on life.. So happy for you and your husband that Davis is here safe and sound. You are going to be the greatest mother.
